Dubbed by Igloo Magazine as the “Romanian Detroit electro/techno pioneer” and by the late Aaron Carl as “the Romanian Underground Resistance himself”, Andrew Red Hand from Romania’s spiritual capital of lasi stands up as an unwavering militant of the underground, a true Detroit spirit possessed as Romanian humanoid!

From his early gigs throwing parties as one of the first generation DJs in lasi since 1997, ARH continues to break boundaries as part of the Romanian resistance scene and numerous time portals as they open around Europe. His blistering, mind-bending sets such as at Berlin’s Tresor and Griessmuehle see the DJ with the red hand fuse pure Detroit electro and techno with the sounds of techno-bass, raw Chicago acid house, classics and futuristic beats. His mixes for Radio UR (Underground Resistance) and The Grid (Detroit Techno Militia) remain some of the best frequency transmissions to surface to air.

Armed with a Soviet Union reel to reel Majak 203, his scorching raw analogue and searing acid productions have been picked up by foundational Detroit labels such as Twilight 76, Matrix, Detroit Underground, Databass, Detroit Techno Militia, Cratesavers Intl, Visillusion as well as around the world from Holland's iconic M>O>S Recordings to 1Ø Pills Mate (Lobster Theremin), Bass Agenda and Land Of Dance. On his remix list includes work for Scan 7, Santonio Echois, Thomas Barnett, Sean Deason, Niko Marks, Six Foe, T.Linder and more while support from Anthony Shake Shakir, DJ Bone, Dave Clarke, DJ Godfather has been garnered for our sonic warrior… Beware of the Red Hand!

Making his first appearance on Ferox Records back in 1993 - Affie Yusuf has been producing techno, acid, and house music for over two decades, gracing heavyweight labels such as Force Inc. Music Works, Superstition Records, 909 Perversions and Chemical.

Affie is regarded as one of the most influential UK acid pioneers throughout the 1990's, releasing under his own name, and as part of House of 909 and Traffik with Trevor Loveys.

In the 2000's Affie & Trevor launched their label Tragic Magic, and founded the Machines Don't Care collective, alongside Sinden, Toddla T, Fake Blood, Detboi, Hervé, and Drop The Lime

Affie is also produces with collaborator Mr. C of the Shamen, and is resident DJ at London's long running 'I Love Acid' clubnight.

Born in Southampton on the south coast of England in the early 1970's, Affie Yusuf has established himself as one of the most important and influential pioneers of UK acid, techno and house, with a career that spans three decades.

This release was born of a cross country trip with an 808 drum machine by Thomas Ragsdale aka Winter Son, alongside Jozef K, resident of famed Manchester and Ibiza clubnight Sankey, as they join Perseus Traxx to hammer electricity out of machines. With itʼs rim shots and claps and other transistor rhythms reverberating across vast distances of space, side A is stripped back and deep from the outset, pushing forward as scattered tones, arpeggiations and disjointed voices leave their trails vanishing from perception. Side B tightens up from the previous reverbs and throws acid into the mix, as the two join Perseus Traxx and the sound becomes more raw and urgent as the three of them jam on their chosen machines.

This record is like the lost crown jewels of House Music with a story that spans decades.
Originally programmed in 1998 on an Akai S3000XL, this was meant to be released on
Bjørn Torske's Footnotes in 2001. Unfortunately the original matrix and the master DAT
tapes got lost under crazy circumstances. Yet several years later the tapes were found by
Sex Tags Mania in the studio of mastering engineer Helmut Erler and the record
eventually got issued in 2009 when a totally different House sound was "en vogue."
Then due to some unfortunate coincidences most of the records ended up in far flung
Japan, and so this record stayed totally underground. Yet it became a cult hit when House
Music and later Disco got a proper revival around 2010/11. So over the years prices for
this rarity were rising and rising...
Then fast forward to 2025: after a sunny day off Berlin's modular synthesizer show
"Superbooth" ATJ boss Mr. Fonk and Doc L. Junior teamed up to finally reissue this gem
with new masters by Andreas Kauffelt of "Schnittstelle" / Berlin.
On this 12“ Norwegian Disco and Balearic sounds meet: funky but deep to the core, playful
but hypnotic, stripped down but with baroque details. Truly one of House Music's greatest
productions.

Anchored in cinematic depth and driven by kinetic pulse, The Shift stands as a powerful first statement, further expanded through stunning reinterpretations by Coeus, ACNØR, and Turker.

The original take of “The Shift” finds Oovation & Jares constructing a restrained groove before thumping kicks and meandering blips send us off on a highly narcotic affair. With the foundations in place, a swaying bassline takes control of the piece, infusing it with an irresistible sense of movement. As we venture deeper inside the rabbit hole, a lush arpeggio rummages across the piece, taking us closer to an airy break where echoes osurrender to a new directive.

For the first reimagining, Coeus drives “The Shift” into more dangerous, sensual territory. Built on a thunderous rhythmic foundation, the Serbian producer laces the mix with ghostly vocal traces and a relentless synthetic tension. The result feels cinematic in scope: an after-hours odyssey pulsing with urgency and redemption, where desire and danger move in lockstep.

Next, ACNØR transforms The Shift into a perpetual motion device where tension breathes and recedes like a living organism, shimmering under dim light. Reflective and transportive, this version feels like moving through mirrored corridors. Each twist refracts a new emotion, a new identity, culminating in a tantalizing entropy.

Finally, Turker closes the circle with a radiant reconstruction that leans toward transcendence. Textured percussion, raspy stabs, and a gleaming lead line spiral upward, pushing “The Shift” toward a horizon bathed in gold as vocal phrases drift in and out of focus, painting the mirage in full technicolor for a finale that feels both cathartic and luminous.

So I dare ask all you techno producers, djs, record labels, record shops, techno magazines, clubs which play techno music, and fans of techno to pay respect to Ken Collier just as you would our other fine music innovators.

However, this special compilation isn't about techno, it's about H.O.U.S.E. sounds - broadcasting it to you live from the inside in lovely Ste - re - o!!. This record contains no artist or track listing because i don't want this to be about who made the tracks, track titles, or even who wrote this commentary. This triple vinyl LP presents for the first time, the legendary Klang Elektronik
released debut CD / album from 1993, which was in it’s original form never released on vinyl
before. It is collecting a string of tracks, written and produced by Acid Jesus, between
December '92 and July ’93.

Following the title of the classic Ecstasy Club record - be it a direct influence or merely a
coincidence - Acid Jesus was the first of many collaborations between Roman Flügel and
Jörn Elling Wuttke.
Situated in Germany’s then blistering techno scene and especially a mirror of Frankfurt at
the time, the early recordings are also a feedback loop to what was happening in the UK and
the USA before and at that very time. With many definitions and interpretations of techno
already in place, and while its triumphal procession slowly geared itself into exhaustion,
Flügel and Wuttke succeeded with their own and unique take on it, that owned as much to
Underground Resistance and the Belleville Three as it did to Sven Väth and Andrew
Weatherall.
Depicting the booster detonation of what was to become the holy label trinity of Playhouse,
Klang and Ongaku, this is a collection of tracks and experiments in sound that won’t sound
dated, yet classic, mesmerizing and eternal.
Jesus loves the acid and vice versa.

Die beiden ersten Maxi-Releases, auf Klang Elektronik, zählten zurecht zu den
hochgelobtesten deutschen Techno Produktionen 1993.
Mit der soeben erschienenen CD werden die sechs Titel, der ersten beiden Acid Jesus
EP’s, mit sechs bislang unveröffentlichten Tracks vereint. Das Album präsentiert den
bislang besten Crossover, zwischen Acid House und Detroit-Techno. Dabei offenbaren
Roman Flügel und Jörn Elling Wuttke einen fast schon unverschämten Enfallsreichtum.
“MF-1” beginnt zurückhaltend mit einer wehmütigen Stringsequenz über monotonen
Rhythmusspiralen, während sich “MF-3”, mit Handclaps, Strings und hochfrequenten
Sounds schnurstracks auf den Weg in die Transmat-Ruhmeshalle macht. Die
Verbindung von meist stringgetragenen Flächenmonstern, mit harschen und
vertrackten Acid-Tracks, zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch das Album ( “HAL”,
“Fairchild”, “Razzblaster”). Auf der clubtauglichen Seite können “Move My Body”,
Odyssey” und “Disappear”, in einem äußerst schmackhaften Tribal-Acid-Detroit-Style,
überzeugen. Kurios sind die afro-jazzigen 70er Jahre-Zitate bei “Mulunga” und der
exaltierte Gesang bei “Jesus”, im gleichnamigen Schlussspurt des Albums. Bleibt als
Bilanz, dass mit Acid Jesus endlich eine der führenden elektronischen “Artificial
Intelligence” Formationen aus Frankfurt kommt.

Marking their 51st release, long time label collaborator and friend Owain K returns to 200 with a brand new solo 4 track EP, Kinematic Equations.

Having joined 200 back in 2012 with the “Colonius EP”, a lot has happened in that time. With 50+ releases on the imprint and Owain setting up his own blog and a label under the Innate banner. However, some things remain - mutual friendship, a shared love of underground Electronic music and Kölsch!

15 years on the Welsh rooted, Bristol (UK) based artist delivers some of his best music to date in the shape of the “Kinematic Equations”. A four track journey into astral electronics that weave together his take on deep space sounds, fused with a healthy dose of dubby aesthetics that are close to the label’s heart.

Starting with the rhythmic pulse of ‘Axial Shifts’ on side A, chords steadily arc into life as the intensity rises and falls, all whilst keeping a measured trajectory. Drifting into the ether, ‘Open Cluster’ fills the zone where heavy sub meets filtered percussion to a rounded 909 kick, set with dreamy atmospherics and shimmering delays.

On side B ‘Eta Aquarid’ blazes a powerful trail to machine-like rumbling and evolving pads which burst brightly over the course. Last but not least, the magical aura of ‘Ghost Of Jupiter’ appears - a fusion of glimmering melodies that float over driving bottom end and steady percussion, bringing the EP to a perfect conclusion.

Addict Records is a French label with a retro-futuristic aesthetic, inspired by Detroit and its pioneers.
Founded by David Ferret, aka DFXRADIO, it blends House and Deep Techno with influences from Northern Soul, Jazz Funk, and Disco, in a human and analog approach. Stanislav Tolkachev, Dublin-based label Awareness System returns with its boldest
statement yet. Combination 3 EP unites the rising label head Pineal Navigation with
Rotterdam’s prolific techno force Charlton for a powerful six-track split release.
This third instalment in the Combination series delivers a deep dive into raw,
machine-driven Techno and Electro, embodying the spirit and authenticity of the true
underground. Each artist contributes three tracks, creating a dynamic and immersive
listening experience designed for peak dance-floor impact.
Charlton opens the record with relentless grooves in “Whats The
Answer” and “Relentless Pressure”, setting the tone with punchy Detroit tinged poly
rhythmic driving energy. Pineal Navigation answers on Side B with “Forward Ever”
and “Datafried”— two tracks of mechanical funk layered with cerebral textures that
push the listener into a state of sonic bliss.
The journey continues as Charlton closes Side 1 with “Feeling Cloudy” an emotive
track that blends his signature gritty, rhythmic percussion sound with dub-inflected
techno elements. On Side 2, Pineal Navigation finishes the EP
