Italian born Andrea began DJing in 2004 and has been mastering his craft in Berlin since 2011. Having picked up releases on labels like Umek's imprint 1605, Aura Karma and IWW Music, Andrea steps in to mark the third AEON release with "The Past Present".

Kicking the EP off with a mixture of oldskool beats against hypnotic vocal chants, while bouncing dark chords off low slung basslines, "The Past Present" has no qualms in setting its sights directly on the dancefloor.

Next up we have a deep and spacey dub mix provided by Marco Bernardi. Fresh from the release of his debut EP on Carl Craig's Planet E, Marco delivers a Detroit influenced mix with smacks of techno, built by the bricks made from the chords of Andrea's original the mix culminates into essential listening for those in the twilight of the late hours/early mornings. As a digital exclusive Marco provides an entrancing remix made up of hypnotic beats, frenzied keys and playful vocal stabs.

Finally, passing the mantle to Gavin Herlihy, who previously has established himself with his own releases and remixes on labels like Get Physical or Crosstown Rebels, he closes the release with twin remixes. Reducing the track to its deepest core elements, sculpting and re-arranging it into a driving sultry deep house classic, Gavin then goes on to finish the EP with "Tool Mix", a wave of sporadic percussion driven by a more ambient approach to "The Past Present".
